We are seeking a hard-working and passionate Executive Assistant and Project Manager to join our team. The Executive Assistant aspect is to provide our Leadership Team (Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor and Teaching Pastor) with administrative and organizational support so they can better focus on their ministries. The Project Manager portion of the job includes event planning and office upkeep.

This is a full-time position, based out of our Austin, Texas office. This is not a remote position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Leadership Team (Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor and Teaching Pastor) - phone calls, emails and meetings.
  • Prepare correspondence and reports for LT
  • Maintain LT’s calendars, schedule meetings, conferences, retreats, etc.
  • Schedule and plan LT’s travel.
  • Plan and prepare materials for meetings.
  • Maintain LT’s files, keep offices organized.
  • Maintain project management tools as directed by Executive Pastor.
  • Attend and serve as recording secretary for appointed meetings.
  • Be available to assist LT outside of normal office hours.
  • Assist with responsibilities around Central Offices as directed.
  • Assist with social media content and communications as directed.
  • Assist in other areas assigned by LT.
  • Manage the office phone.
  • Work with a team to plan the following events: Baptism Weekends, Easter Weekend, Christmas Eve, Be-Loved Nights, Men’s Breakfasts, Volunteer Appreciation Events, Christmas Party.
  • Coordinate the details for these events.
  • Upkeep around the building (Kitchen stocked, Homeroom stocked, Printer area managed, etc.)

  • Accurate typing speed – 75-90 wpm.
  • Editing and proofreading ability.
  • Creative ability to learn new software applications.
  • Willingness to work after hours or on weekends when needed.
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence.
  • Self-starter who will take initiative.
