Videographer/Content Creator

We are seeking an experienced content creator to join the Creative Team at Red Rocks Austin. This position will work with the Red Rocks Austin team as well as alongside a team of central creatives in Denver to push creativity and innovation as a reflection of the Creator and utilize every opportunity to help Make Heaven More Crowded. This position will work collaboratively with other content creation team members, strategic communications, and ministries to provide content capture, videos, photos and other creative assets while supporting the integrity of the Red Rocks Church brand.

This is a full-time position, based at our Austin, TX office. This is not a remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, direct and execute creation of video projects including but not limited to: social media content, event/weekend recap videos, promotional content, special projects for Easter/Christmas/Year End service, volunteer events and testimony videos
  • Produce weekly podcast and oversee promotion of podcast
  • Regularly capture photo and video content at weekend experiences and mid-week events. Including, but not limited to: Youth, Sports events, Classes, Outreach, Worship, special events
  • Execute, export and upload of various forms of services/sermons and manage YouTube channel, RRC App video content and audio formats on Spotify/Apple Podcasts
  • Capture speaker photos and BTS content of weekend messages/services
  • Follow Strategic Communications’ strategy and post schedule, communicating if adjustments need to be made
  • Work with Creative Team and Art Director to support and maintain integrity of the Red Rocks Church brand in all projects
  • Have a strong understanding of video editing programs (Premiere and/or DaVinci, After Effects) as well as photo editing and ideally design (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Assist with graphics/thumbnails for weekend messages as needed, general design overseen by Marketing Director
  • Create content within the Red Rocks Church brand
  • Be a team player willing to help anyone through collaboration, brainstorms, assisting in video shoots, hands-on projects, special event installation, etc.

Must Haves:

  • Video capture and editing (Premiere / DaVinci, After Effects)
  • Knowledge and experience with technical video equipment (audio recording, live video switching, lighting, set design, camera gear - Canon, Black Magic etc)
  • Photography capture and editing skills
  • Graphic design skills with proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator is a bonus
  • Portfolio showcasing your creative ability
  • Self starter who will take initiative and work well with a team
  • Experience working with digital and video standards
  • Enthusiastic with attention to detail
  • Able to receive and apply feedback and critique
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Able to balance multiple projects and deadlines
